So, for starters, in order to get used to my life and I, you must come to grips with the fact that I live in a state of organized chaos (it drives Vida nuts). As we speak (well, as you read) I am...ahem *clear my throat*...in the middle of packing for my annual trip to Europe for a series of teaching workshop gigs and to serve on the staff of Young!Tanzsommer (that explains the attached pic), AND packing my house up to put my things in storage (explain why ina sec), AND having to move aforementioned items into storage because I will essentially be gone until August, AND prepping to Direct/Choreograph the 2nd Flash Mob ever assembled in Innsbruck Austria (I of course did the 1st) with over 300+ dancers in their main train station (click on Flash Mob to see a clip of last year's), AND getting ready to teach at the wonderful Glenda Brown Choreography Project in Kansas City MO, AND psyching myself up and preparing my body for the rigors of teaching and dancing ALL summer (I. Love. It.), AND I just recently got engaged (Vida's an amazing woman and I'm, literally, the luckiest man on the planet), AND I just booked a show at the Houston Grand Opera in the Fall called "The Italian Girl", which is why stuff has to go into storage (and I get to play a Tiger!), AND I think that's it. For now.
You catching the drift? I'll just ramble, hopefully entertain a few of you, and we'll vary from topic to topic. No constraints. No pressure. No worries. Took me a LONG time to learn how to live that way...but that story's for another day :)
Next time we check in, I'll be European! Reminds me of the joke: If you're an American when you go to the bathroom & you're an American when you come out of the bathroom...What are you while you're IN the bathroom? European, of course!! Lol, I crack myself up. Hey, never said I was a comedy writer...I stick to Singin'/Dancin'/Ackin' ;)
